Here is JJP's signature in Image 3...the enhancement didn't quite work..if you download it and zoom out a bit it becomes a bit more apparent. The smaller image above is a straight cut and paste.
Has this been found before? Because if this is a fresh find. For me at least that brings even more validity to the claim made by some. That JJP hide other images in the same fashion. So go back and look at those images that were dismissed as “printing artifacts”. Just saying.
This probably isn't new. I have known that this signature was there ever since I started researching this puzzle a few years ago. A lot gets dismissed as peridolia, but I am not sure that is the truth. Granted it is very difficult to tell what is really there and what is either artifacts, but some information is hidden...
For example: the word 'Basin' in image seven is most certainly there..it not only matches the city (New Orleans) it is a match in placement as well. The Dog Head is representative of Jackson Square..go up a block or two and that is where you will find Basin street, same as the image. Not to mention right underneath the dog head is the word 'JAX SQUARE'. I don't know if JJP wrote that as he was desinging the images or it was Mr. Preiss himself who may have done some editing of the images and added hidden words. Maybe a bit of both. I was able to find a sample of B.P.s handwriting...and it matches for the most part...
I think the greatest evidence of this post-pre production alteration is the hiding of the trefoil in image 10...from what I know, that really is a new discovery..although I have not heard or seen much discussion on this besides that it is there.
I have poured over these images, and have found stuff that indicates the position of every casque..(in the image) the hard part is rectifying where that relates to the ground.
In image 3..I am 99% sure I was literally walking on top of it..as I believe I found the tree that B.P. himself carved..it is posted in the images here.
Wow! Thanks for sharing your conversation with JJP. Would you pleas share with me what letter sector the word Basin is visible in image 7. I've looked for it many times but cannot see it. Thanks
Yes this is not new and is not an example of Hidden text that can only be brought out by image manipulation as it is visible to the naked eye in an original book.
The only way to prove this. is to take chicago or cleveland use the methodology and show there is some benefit to be gained by the letters or numbers that he finds.
He flat out refuses to do this because he knows he can't but as long as he is working with an unfound casque no one can really argue with him.
(the trefoil) and the clock in image 1 and her eyes in image 1...
I have found, word 'Jackson' street in the image for Chicago(The letters are staggered forming a stairway like pattern. This matches the stairway that goes up to Jackson Street from the other side of the tracks if where the casque was found), as well as a number of other things in Chicago's picture. Also below the post in the image is a 'V' (arrow) with a key underneath it..I am sure I posted that as well.
In the Ohio image there is a key hidden exactly where the casque was found..and also another 'V' arrow above it.
I feel like I'm blind, because I can't see the signature 😣. Can someone put up a shot of the signature filled in for comparison? I literally can't see anything.
Zoom out, not in. If you're in too close it's actually harder to see. It's his full sig - John Jude Palencar and it's underlined. Look for the J's and the P and I bet you'll see it...

Here you go: http://thesecret.pbworks.com/w/file/125361998/signature_comparison.png
It's very faint but I think Odeyin is right, that's Palencar's signature.
